My Bio
Hey there!
My name is Anica Yousaf and I am currently a self-represented Actress. I am a soon to be new BA (Hons) Acting and Performance graduate from Southampton Solent University and hope to eventually gain agency representation. My ethnic background consists of a mixture of Indian, Portuguese, Pakistani and Chinese, making me a very unique individual. With my mixed background, I am knowledgeable in a variety of cultural traditions which can largely benefit how I portray and interoperate characters accurately. I hope that I can one day inspire young Asian children to follow their dreams instead of following strict cultural traditions that most families have.
About Me
My love for acting grew from being involved on multiple stage performances that were a part of my culture, soon leading me to take on some LAMDA courses which fully convinced me that this was my passion!

I have obtained a vast amount of beginner experience in Acting, (refer to my resume for further information), and am currently applying for on screen roles in attempt to broaden my experience in the screen industry. I am currently based in Southampton, however, I am willing to relocate to other areas around the world, depending on the length of a project. I have always loved to travel around the globe and experience new places, so am looking forward to be offered the opportunity of filming in a new environment to ones I'm used to.

During my years of study at University, I was able to gain experience in stage combat where I was taught how to perform a fight scene in a safe yet believable way. I was also fortunate enough to be granted the opportunity of acquiring training in Scuba Diving, where I acted as Team Leader and obtained my certificate, making me a fully qualified diver.

A few years back in 2019, I decided to create a TikTok account for fun, but to also practise watching myself act and reshooting scenes that didn't look as believable. After over 2 years of posting videos often on TikTok, I have aqquired almost 7000 followers where I obtain a decent amount of views and likes per video. I hope to reach 10,000 followers by the end of this year and am challenging myself to post a video each day in order to achieve this. Using TikTok is a great way to be noticed in social media and definitely helps me improve as an Actress.
